The tree at Rockefeller Center is usually lit the first Wednesday in December at about 7:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. When we find the exact date I will post it here.
Usually there are performances starting at 5:00 P.M. I would recommend getting there before 3:00 P.M. for a good spot to see the tree light.
The Christmas tree is in Rockefeller Center between 49th and 50th Street off of 5th Ave. Exit the hotel turn right to 5th Ave. Then turn left (north). Walk up to 49 street about 18 blocks. (2 blocks short of a city mile). |
